The Galapagos Aggressor III liveaboard offers onboard comfort and a high level of service while exploring the world-class dive sites of the Galapagos Islands. The Galapagos Aggressor III caters for up to 16 guests in 9 staterooms. Accommodations include 4 deluxe staterooms with twin beds located on the lower deck and 4 master staterooms with twin or double beds located on the upper deck. All cabins are complete with en-suite bathrooms, individually controlled AC, TV monitor with media player and a hairdryer. Master staterooms offer sea views with large picture windows. Social areas around the Galapagos Aggressor III include the large salon and dining area where a varied menu of American and local cuisine is served. Breakfast and lunch are served buffet-style, and the evening meal is chef-prepared and plated. The top deck is home to the large shaded solarium with a hot tub, chaise lounges, deck chairs, bar and grill.

The Galapagos Aggressor III yacht was built for comfort, stability and safety to offer smooth sailing around the Galapagos Islands. 7-night itineraries depart from Baltra and visit Wolf, Darwin, Punta Carrion, Cabo Douglas, Punta Vicente Roca and Cousins Rock. Diving at Wolf and Darwin offers incredible marine encounters with hammerhead sharks, playful sea lions, turtles, whale sharks and even Mola Mola. The large dive deck provides ample individual storage space and personal lockers, as well as a swim platform, air/nitrox fill stations, rinse tanks, a three-tier camera table with low-pressure air hoses and 2 warm freshwater showers. The inflatable skiffs make getting to and from the dive sites as easy as possible.

Itineraries

Galapagos is one of the most exciting destinations in the world. Guests will have the opportunity to dive with playful Sea Lions, and travel to the famous Darwin and Wolf for thrilling diving to see Hammerhead Sharks, Whale Sharks, clouds of Tuna, and much more on their Galapagos Islands liveaboard scuba diving trip. The scenic view of the Darwin Arch is as picturesque as you can imagine. The GALAPAGOS AGGRESSOR liveaboard departs from Baltra every Thursday afternoon.

In 2016, Ecuador created a marine sanctuary in the area of Darwin and Wolf that includes 15,000 square miles as off-limits to all fishing to conserve the sharks that congregate there and the ecosystem on which they rely.

32% of the waters around the Galapagos islands will now be protected from fishing.

Our goal is to provide you with the ultimate Galapagos Islands liveaboard scuba diving experience. The GALAPAGOS AGGRESSOR offers a brand new itinerary in compliance with the Galapagos National Park regulations which require companies with permits to follow the exact itinerary below. A maximum of four dives will be offered daily; two in the morning and two in the afternoon. In addition, two-night dives and two land excursions per week will be offered.

The new diving areas added to the itinerary are Bartolome Punta, Cousins Rock, and Cabo Douglas. The Galapagos National Park grants approval for normal itineraries and accepts requests for special itineraries.

Day 1 – Thursday: Baltra Airport, Afternoon Greeting by Staff, Bus Transfer to the Itabaca Channel Canal, and Boarding. Welcome, and Orientation Dive at Punta Carrion at Itabaca Channel.

Day 2 – Friday: 2 Morning dives; Punta Carrion (Santa Cruz Island) or Bartolome Punta. 1-afternoon hike to Bartolome Summit and panga ride at Pinnacle Rock. 

Day 3 – Saturday: 

January to May: 4 Dives at Wolf; 2 mornings, 2 afternoon dives.

June to December: 2-morning dives, 1 afternoon, and 1-night dive.

Day 4 – Sunday: 

January to May: 2 morning dives at Darwin and 2-afternoon dives at Wolf.

June to December: 2 morning dives and 2 afternoon dives at Darwin.

Day 5 – Monday:

January to May:  4 dives at Cabo Marshall; 2 morning dives, 1 afternoon, and 1-night dive.

June to December: 2 morning dives at Darwin; and 2-afternoon dives at Wolf.

Day 6 – Tuesday: 2 morning dives at Cabo Douglas and 2-afternoon dives at Punta Vicente Roca.

Day 7 – Wednesday: 1 morning dive at Cousins Rock. Wednesday afternoon arrives at Itabaca Channel or Puerto Ayora. After lunch guests will disembark at 1 pm to go ashore for a private bus tour to see the beautiful Highlands of Santa Cruz Island. This will include a scenic view over Santa Cruz and a Tortoise Reserve to see giant tortoises.

After the hike, guests can walk through town, shop, and visit the tortoise-breeding center Fausto Llerena at the Charles Darwin Research Station. Guests will have dinner ashore at a local restaurant of their choice (the only meal not included in the cruise). The Galapagos Aggressor III will depart at 10 pm from Puerto Ayora town to Baltra.

Day 8 – Thursday: Guests will have a full breakfast then check out and depart to the Baltra Airport.

Galapagos Aggressor does not require any specific amount of dives but the destination is for sure not for beginners as conditions can be a bit adverse at times. It is recommended to have at least 50 dives in open water (not pool conditions).
