Mosquera is one of the smallest islands in the archipelago located near Baltra. It only has one visitor site but the wonder is that it has no marked trails to follow, so visitors are free to explore and enjoy their time in this untouched wilderness. Mosquera is home to one of the largest sea lion colonies, so they will often be spotted lazying on the pristine white sand beaches. Marine iguanas and Sally lightfoot crabs are also spotted on these beaches. There have also been ocassional orca whale sighitngs around the island due to the large sea lion population that attracts them.
